Who it's for

Built for the people who answer for the weld record.

MaxTrax is built for three kinds of teams. Here is what slows each one down and what MaxTrax does about it, today and next.

EPC and industrial contractors

Many projects, one weld record.

What slows you down

  • Welds live in a spreadsheet per project, and nobody can see which project is drifting until a client asks.
  • A welder lapses, or welds are made after a lapse, and you find out at audit time.
  • Test packages wait on a reject nobody has closed.
  • Turnover starts late because the record has gaps no one owns.

What MaxTrax 8 does

  • The Portfolio (in preview) lists every active project on one screen, with the ones that need attention first.
  • A continuity forecast for the next 30, 60 and 90 days, and the welds made after a lapse.
  • A Repair chain card for rejects still open and how long they stay open, and a Monday email of last week for each project.
  • Ready to sign: each test package, what is still in the way, and its required and performed pressure.
  • Export a workbook, edit it in Excel and import it back after a row-by-row check, then report in PDF, Excel, on a schedule or in Power BI.

Planned: a turnover gap list (a first slice for test packages is in review), and qualification records (PQR, WPS revisions, WPQ) tied to every weld, early 2027.

Pipe fabrication shops

Know every weld without an IT project.

What slows you down

  • Weld logs in Excel that only one person understands.
  • Inspection results on paper that get keyed in days later.
  • No time or staff to run servers.

What MaxTrax 8 does

  • Ready to inspect lists every inspection waiting for a result. Inspectors record it from a tablet on site, or with no signal in preview where a site turns it on.
  • Each weld shows its repairs, heats, procedure and welders in one panel.
  • We can host it for you on Microsoft Azure, so there is nothing to install.
  • Start from the workbook you already have: the import checks it row by row before anything is saved.

Planned: QR tag scanning in the new screens, and a wider field app.

Tank, LNG and owner-operator programs

One record across contractors, on your terms.

What slows you down

  • Each contractor reports in its own format, so the owner never sees one weld record.
  • InfoSec asks where the data lives and who can reach it.
  • Questions about who changed what, and when.

What MaxTrax 8 does

  • Each role sees only the projects and contractors it is allowed to see, including NDE contractors.
  • Run it hosted by CSDS, in your own Azure subscription, or on your own Windows servers with SQL Server.
  • Sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace or another OpenID Connect provider.
  • An audit trail of every record and setting, with old and new values.

Planned: users from your directory (SCIM), a public API in early 2027, and ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 for CSDS-hosted MaxTrax, starting in 2027.

Piping and structural steel

One record for both disciplines.

Piping

Drawings (ISOs) with their welds, WPS, welders, heats, inspections and test packages. Built around ASME IX welder qualification and B31.3 production examination, with inspection classes you set up to match your spec.

Structural steel

Structural drawings sit beside piping in the same project. A weld is measured by length and carries its piece mark, with structural reports. Set up an inspection class for AWS D1.1 work the way your spec requires.

MaxTrax keeps the record. It does not enforce a code: your inspectors decide acceptance, and we make no claim that a project complies with a code.

Where it runs

Hosted by us, in your Azure, or on your servers.

The same product runs three ways. IT and security has the details, and it prints cleanly if you want to save it as a PDF.

Tell us which one sounds like you.

Say how you track welds today and what slows your team down. We will show you the screens that answer it.
